Elect Lady Bussey

Elect Lady Crystal Bussey

Elect Lady Crystal Bussey was born February 29, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia. At an early age her family moved from Atlanta to Riviera Beach, Florida and then back to Georgia where her father started a ministry in Valdosta. She is the eldest of 5 children born to the union of Bishop H.H. and the late Mother B. Francine Norman, and granddaughter of the late Rev. Thomas and Mrs. Mable Norman, and the late Rev. Benjamin and Mother Essie Mae Spencer.

In January 1977, at the age of 12, Elect Lady Bussey accepted the Lord as her Savior. She served in several areas of the church where her father, Bishop Norman served as pastor before accepting her call into the ministry in 1986. Years following she received credentials for missionary, deaconess, and minister. Elect Lady Bussey was ordained as minister by the laying on of hands in April 2005.

She is a 1982 Senior Superlative and honor graduate of Brooks County High School, Quitman, Georgia. Elect Lady Bussey received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University in December 2013. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Christian Counseling. Lady Bussey is employed by the Ware County Board of Education as Administrative Assistant for Human Resources.

Seeing the need for a support system for Pastors’ wives, Elect Lady Bussey founded a Pastors’ Wives Fellowship for the Waycross area. This fellowship of senior pastors’ wives meets once a month for prayer and spiritual support and guidance from women who are walking on common ground.  In 2009, after a series of services designed to encourage women, the Lord placed it on Elect Lady Bussey’s heart to form the Ladies of Victory Empowerment Conference. The purpose of L.O.V.E. is to equip and empower women from every walk of life to live life victoriously through Jesus Christ.

Since March 19, 1988, she has been happily married to Bishop Albert Lee Bussey, Jr., DD, founder and presiding prelate of Victory Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. and pastor of Victory Temple, Waycross. As Elect Lady of VBBF, Inc. she stands by her husband serving on the general and local levels of ministry.  She travels with him as often as possible showing her love of and support for him and ministry. Often times she says serving in ministry is not always easy, but it is rewarding.

Elect Lady Bussey and her husband are the proud parents of three handsome sons: Albert Lee III, Anthony Lamont, and Andrew Lewis and a beautiful daughter, Amber Victoria
